My husband eats here a few times a month and raves about it. I joined him there and the service from hello was fabulous! The place is clean, the servers were nice, it was packed at lunchtime. The crispy tacos are so good. The beans are creamy and the rice tasty and moist. The ceviche tostadas are huge and stacked high with shrimp, avocado and so so yummy. Really good salsa and chips too! It's sort of hidden behind a gas station. Happy Hour has the best margarita s too! Stop in and give them business. You will be happily well fed!
Ordered takeout from here and it had a lot of flavor! I got the trio combination and it was very filling. I've had their whole fish before too and it was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!
True authentic Mexican food in the Palm Desert area. The ladies are extremely attentive in providing an amazing dining experience. They are extremely welcoming and treat you as if you're family.
Family was on Spring Break and wanted good Mexican food. Looked on Yelp and found this little gem. Service is good (very friendly and hard working) Had to remind them couple of times we needed water for everyone. Also, with kids meal, we asked for cheese quesadilla and noticed they made it with chicken. My son ended up eating it & enjoyed it, but my daughter didn't want chicken so we had to remind them that it was a cheese quesadilla. They made her a new one. Salsa and chips are super yummy and just warning you, they are spicy You can get very full from chips and salsa. My hubs and I ordered same plate. Crispy taco (chicken and beef) cheese enchilada and rich and beans. Very tasty! Happy they could make me a Sprite Zero Shirley temple. Although, it was tasty I give this place a 4/5 due to the confusion of kids meal, water, reminders, etc. We would return again.
I'm giving this place a solid 4 stars! I've been in and out of Palm Springs the last few weeks and a solid search turned up this spot. Hospitality was great- was sat quickly and delivered chips n salsa almost immediately. This is kind of the double edged sword of Mexican restaurants, eh? To eat your body weight in chips before the meal comes or pace yourself or ... abstain completely?? Impossible, the chips were amazing. Great seasoning and texture. Didn't feel cheap at all. Half my body weight in chips later, I was enjoying some chicken mole, which was delicious. I was getting a bit Chinese food, cornstarch, suspiciously sweet textures from the sauce but it was tasty- although a bit decadent. Restaurant was cute and clean. Big ol bar w a nice wall of possibilities. I heard the margaritas were delicious but I was on the clock. Would definitely return if in the area again- perhaps to try some of their tacos.
